Simply put, we care about what we eat. And we believe we're to love our neighbor as ourselves. To us, that means caring about what you eat and doing our part to make sure quality food is available for those who want it.

As growers of "food for people," we believe that the final product is as important as the methods used to grow it. So while we favor organic methods, we also concern ourselves with increasing nutrient density of the various foods we produce.

We endeavor to live and farm in ever more sustainable ways. To us, sustainability describes a system that is

  • economically viable

  • ecologically sound

  • socially just

"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children." Our own children are the biggest motivating factors for us doing what we do the way we do it. We take these words of Chief Seattle to heart and try to be good stewards of the land in hopes that future generations can also live and make a living from it.

Scale is key in our ability to steward the land responsibly. So instead of joining the relentless pursuit of additional acres, we’ve always sought ways to add value to what we already have.

We believe that trust is the foundation of the producer-consumer relationship. For this reason, we pledge to treat you as fairly, as honestly, as ethically as we know how.
